Recipe Baltic Porter All Grain
Grain kit, this is our recipe for an exceptional deep and bold Porter .Full bodied. Smooth. Aged alcohol warmth. Sweet, malty, roasted flavor that stops short of burnt. Med to low bitterness. Dark fruits, caramel, toffee or currant flavors add to complexity. Best servced with moderate carbonation. Traditional beer from countries bordering the Baltic Sea. A cross between English Porters influenced also by Russian Stouts. Rich malty sweetness with complex blend of deep malts.
Kit contains all the malt, hops, yeast, whirlfloc and minerals for a successful brewday.
Grains will be custom milled to suit your system, so in the notes section at checkout, add eg. "Milled for 3V system" or "Milled for BIAB" or "Milled for Grainfather System" "Unmilled etc.
We'll adjust milling to suit and flush the grains with CO2 so they can be stored milled for several weeks before use if necessary.
Your hops will be supplied in a segmented bag with each hop addition all ready to go in.
