This session IPA is a beer that has both a large amount of flavour and aroma, seems high in alcohol but has a low ABV.
FLAVOUR: Has a malt character and body that belies its strength. Flavours are a complex toffee malt character with a pronounced bitter orange note.
AROMA: The aroma is heavily fruit driven on a base of biscuity malt with aspects of nectarines, Satsuma and spicy limes with a hint of cattiness.
HOPS: Amarillo, Citra, Pacific Jade, Motueka
YEAST: M79 Burton Union
BRES STATS: OG: 1.045, FG: 1.014, ABV: 4%, IBU: 38, EBC:18
Note: In your instructions it will say the OG should be 1.054, this should be 1.045 (which is stated correctly on the front label). There is a misprint in the instructions, we haven’t told you when to add the Carrageenan. Add this 10-15 minutes before the end of the boil. Our apologies.
Designed to be used with the Grainfather.
