Characteristics: Perfect with Baltic Porters. Marynka is an all purpose hop. It is very versatile, combining good bittering potential with a high aroma described as unique. It is grown in Poland, recommended for any Baltic Porter, pilsner, lager, ale, or wheats. We’re currently working on some Baltic Porters and Pilsners with it. So far, it looks like a winner in these and Bohemian Lagers.
Interesting hops suited for a range of beers including:
Baltic Porters
Stout / RIS
Bohemian Lagers
Bohemian Pilsners
European Ales
We’re working on a number of recipes with these hops at the moment. They’re delivering very pleasant aromas when used late in the boil. Clean flavour and a smooth bitterness. Spicey, Pine and Anise / mild aniseed. Looking forward to this one in a few stout recipes for winter.
