Bairds Medium Peated Malt is an established favourite with distillers, delivering a moderate smokiness in well aged whisky.
Phenol 15-25ppm
For higher Phenol Levels 40+ see Bairds Heavy Peated Malt as used in Islay style Whisky.
When Ordering, please nominate your preferred milling ie. BIAB, 2V, 3V or Braumeister – we custom mill as per your requirements. Milled grains are flushed with CO2 to ensure no oxidation and to prolong storage. We do not charge for custom milling.
