Briess Caramel 90° Lovibond (Can be steeped)
at 90 L, this malt from the Stable of Briess Malting gives dark and rich Toffee, Burned sugar and dark fruity notes reminiscent of a Dark Fruit Cake.
Great addition to American Pale Ales, for solid malt backbone as well as American Amber Ales and English Style Beers where malt complexity is a driving force to underpin higher IBU's
Colour contribution from Briess Caramel 90 L malt is decidedly deep rich red
