Polyclar 730 is blend of polyvinylpolypyrrolidone (PVPP) and silica xerogel, an efficient single dose, balanced beer stabiliser.
It offers the following key benefits:
Single Use stabiliser
Simultaneous removal of proteins, tannoids and polyphenols
Optimised ratio for preventing chill and permanent haze
Enables flocculation of hydrated xerogel particles
Improved material dispersion and transfers
No settling of slurry at bottom of secondary vessels
High absorptive capacity for haze forming precursors
No Negative impact on foam or flavour
Completely insoluble in beer
Ease of cleaning from 1micron absolute filters commonly used in home breweries

Instructions:
Add the required dose to a sanitised Erlenmeyer flask or other suitable receptacle for continuous agitation for 1hr. Add to deoxygenated water (pre-boiled water & if possible, flush vessel with co2) 100ml deoxygenated water per 10g dose of Polyclar 730 (10:1 by weight minimum) and agitate continuously to rehydrate effectively. A stir plate is the most effective method. Gently add the solution to the beer in a keg and allow Minimum 3 minutes contact time, preferably 15 minutes contact time for best results before filtering at low pressure (<3psi) through an absolute 1micron filter to the receiving keg. Gravity filtering from a secondary vessel to a keg may be effective. Exceptional clarity will result along with good beer stability.
